Lawyer and consultant with over 30 years’ experience in 27 countries in nearly all aspects of international trade/investment law and policy, including recognized specialization in: the GATT/WTO framework of rules for global trade (including the Doha Development Agenda), regional economic integration and trade arrangements, and foreign direct investment.

 

Designated a “Consultant/Expert” in “Legal Aspects of Foreign Trade” by the UNCTAD/WTO International Trade Centre in Geneva and as a “Visiting Lecturer” in “GATT/WTO Law & Practice” by the International Development Law Organization in Rome. He has served as Adjunct Professor of International Trade Law at the University of Missouri School of Law and as a lecturer on International Trade Law at the Law Faculty of East China University in Shanghai, PRC.

 

Author of one published book (on Chinese foreign trade law) and several published articles and has lectured extensively on trade and investment topics.
